Chester’s proposed Transport Strategy can be viewed in Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Forum offices from 18 September until Monday 30 September.
The Council, in partnership with Chester Renaissance, is seeking views on the future of transport in and around the city. Important issues that the Council has considered and responded to include -
“The strategy affects the future of transport in and around Chester and we believe that the proposals go some way in providing a more ‘joined up’ approach to dealing with transport, both now and in coming years. “Please study the proposals and let us know your thoughts by October 18.” Full details and an online questionnaire are also available to view online atwww.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/cts Details about the proposed strategy can also be found at Chester Library. The deadline for comments is Friday 18 October 2013 and once the Council has considered the results of the consultations, it plans to finalise and publish the new Transport Strategy in early 2014.
